A 1963 graduate of Columbia University, Mr. Joseph received his LL.B. from Harvard Law School in 1966. He served as law clerk to the Honorable Irving L. Goldberg of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. Mr. Joseph‘s service in the public sector also includes three years in the Appellate Section of the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Mr. Joseph is a former member of the District of Columbia Bar’s Legal Ethics Committee and chair of the Bar’s Rules of Professional Conduct Review Committee. He currently serves as adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center.
Daniel Joseph has litigated a large number of cases, with particular emphasis on appellate and complex litigation, judicial review of federal agency action, energy and environmental cases, and congressional investigations.
