• Numerous individuals accused of participating in a large-scale narcotics conspiracies in both state and federal courts

• An alleged serial killer who evaded law enforcement for nearly 20 years
Mr. Murphy has extensive experience in defending individuals and organizations accused of committing white collar crimes such as embezzlement, insurance fraud, tax fraud, wire fraud and RICO violations.
Mr Murphy also represents individuals facing a wide range of California state court felony and misdemeanor charges including homicide, assault, burglary, robbery, domestic violence, drug charges, weapons charges, sex offenses, computer crimes, and DUI. Mr. Murphy also represents individuals before the Department of Motor Vehicles and in administrative hearings.
Mr. Murphy is a member of the State Bars of New Jersey, California, and Indiana. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the Eastern District of California, the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York and the District of New Jersey.
Mr. Murphy is a graduate of Indiana University. After he completed his degree in public policy, he attended Seton Hall University School of Law on a scholarship.
