Emily A. Foehr is an associate in Venable’s Tax and Wealth Planning Practice in the San Francisco office. She is a California State Bar Certified Specialist, Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, The State Bar of California of Legal Specialization.
She develops complex and comprehensive estate plans for high-net-worth clients; develops and implements probate, estate planning, and trust administration strategies; and counsels clients regarding property tax issues, including change of ownership, reassessment, and property tax exclusions.
Emily also creates buy-sell agreements, family limited partnerships, and limited liability companies. Emily is a graduate of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. While in law school, she worked as an extern for Judge John A. Mendez with the United States District Court in Sacramento, California. She also served as an intern with the McGeorge Tax Appeals Assistance Program and the Department of Real Estate.
