Jessica Wright is an associate of Ellis Law Corporation. She has extensive experience representing clients in various areas of law including personal injury, product liability, labor and employment, family law and entertainment law.
Additionally, Ms. Wright has been a mediator since 1997 and a trained arbitrator since 2015. Ms. Wright’s conflict resolution experience coupled with her legal training and experience make her a zealous advocate able to obtain the best results for our clients.
Ms. Wright obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University in 2007, J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2010, LL.M. in Entertainment and Media Law from Southwestern Law School in 2013, and M.B.A. from California State University Monterey Bay in 2016.
Ms. Wright was admitted to practice law in California in 2010 and is a member of the American Bar Association, the John M. Langston Bar Association, the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, and the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association. Additionally, Ms. Wright is an Associate with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Prior to joining the firm, she operated her own firm, as well as practiced with Los Angeles area law firms in various areas of law, including personal injury, civil litigation, employment and labor law, entertainment law, intellectual property, business litigation, family law and contract law.
Ms. Wright is originally from Santa Barbara, California. She serves on the board of directors of the Santa Barbara Restorative Justice Program and the AmeriCorps Alums Los Angeles. In her spare time, Ms. Wright enjoys baking, traveling, discovering new wine, spending time outdoors and watching football where she is an avid Raiders fan.
