Lauren Isaacoff is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Section. Lauren’s practice focuses on, among other things, general business and creditors’ rights litigation. In the course of her practice, Lauren represents large corporations, financial institutions, small businesses and individuals in connection with a wide range of complex commercial matters and has counseled corporate and individual clients on new business deals and contracts.
Additionally, she appears regularly on behalf of clients in court and has successfully argued numerous motions in both federal and state courts. Lauren has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions practice, oral argument, written and electronic discovery, witness preparation and examination, mediation and settlement, contract drafting, review and negotiation, and trial.
Lauren has been with Buchanan since 2007, first starting at the firm as a summer associate and then associate in the New York City office. She took a one-year absence from the firm during which she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Cathy L. Waldor, United States Magistrate Judge, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in Newark.
In between college and law school, Lauren worked as an assistant cruise director on board a large international cruise line. While receiving her undergraduate degree, Lauren spent a semester studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain. Also an avid traveler, Lauren has visited places such as Vietnam, Cambodia and India. Finally, Lauren has been a contributor to Vermont Bride Magazine.
