Peter A. Berg represents owners, developers and lenders in their global construction projects, including liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facilities, petrochemical facilities, refineries, pipeline projects, state-of-the-art paper-making facilities and others, ranging in value from $100 million to over $20 billion.
Peter is focused exclusively on construction transactions and is experienced in drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements, including EPC, construction, engineering, architectural, equipment supply and professional services agreements.+
Before joining the firm, Peter practiced construction litigation and represented clients ranging in size from family-owned subcontractors to some of the largest construction companies in the United States.
As a former litigator, Peter uses his background to assist clients in avoiding disputes by focusing on issues that create conflict. In the event conflict is unavoidable, Peter also helps clients resolve disagreements early at the project level. Peter’s background in civil engineering also lends real-world perspective and an added benefit to clients.
Peter has represented subcontractors, general contractors, engineering firms, architects, owners and developers on both public and private projects and in numerous litigation and transactional matters.
