Samantha Kopacz is a shareholder at Fraser Trebilcock, specializing in employee health and welfare benefits. Sam provides a competitive edge, which started on the college soccer field, to the employee benefits team.
Sam represents employers, group health plans, insurance companies, and third party administrators in regulatory and compliance issues related to employee benefits. Her expertise includes ERISA, HIPAA, PPACA, COBRA, IRC, FMLA, and other federal and state laws impacting health and welfare benefits. Sam also focuses her practice on HIPAA compliance issues for health plans, medical providers, and business associates.
Outside of the office, you can find Sam lending her talents to the next successful event for Charlotte’s Wings as a member of its Board of Directors and the Annual Benefit Planning Committee.
