Sarah Lynch

Since joining Shook in 2003, Sarah E. Lynch has primarily represented pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, distributors and retailers in product liability litigation.

Sarah has defended complex cases in large multidistrict litigations and in individual actions in state and federal courts, managing all aspects of pretrial preparation and providing onsite trial support.

Sarah has secured the dismissal of numerous cases through pretrial dispositive motions on a variety of grounds, including Daubert, lack of proximate cause in failure-to-warn claims, preemption and others.

Through her work on numerous types of pharmaceutical and medical device cases, Sarah has a broad base of scientific knowledge. She has taken the depositions of and consulted with physicians of numerous scientific and medical witnesses over the course of her career.

She has worked with experts in oncology, cardiology, radiology, pulmonology, gynecology, psychiatry and pharmacology.

Sarah has extensive deposition experience and serves as a faculty member for deposition training programs.

While in law school, Sarah served as editor-in-chief of the Tulsa Law Review and was honored by the Oklahoma Bar Association as the Outstanding Senior Law Student at the University of Tulsa.
