Siraj Husain is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm’s Palo Alto office. Siraj focuses his practice on intellectual property and patent strategy in various technical areas with an emphasis in software and computer science.
Siraj represents clients in a variety of domestic and international business transactions involving intellectual property and technology rights, including acquiring and licensing intellectual property. He also focuses his practice on building patent portfolios and prosecuting patent applications in a wide range of technical fields, both in the United States and internationally.
Some examples of the technologies in which Siraj has extensive experience include cloud computing architectures and related technologies, distributed system architectures, Internet technologies, computer security, web-based applications, virtualization, machine learning, search engines and related technologies, advertising, consumer electronic devices, and computer hardware.
Siraj’s professional technical experience includes working as a Systems Administrator. In his role as Systems Administrator, Siraj was involved with the engineering and managing of computing systems on various platforms. While attending law school, Siraj served as Chief Technical Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review.
