She is actively defending and has extensive experience handling matters throughout Florida in state and federal court. She also provides consultation and representation to insurers regarding claims handling issues and is frequently consulted on matters presenting significant potential exposure to insurers, insureds, and other companies.
In addition, Vanessa counseled large and small employers while administering a national employment law hotline that provided best practice advice for employers to avoid and minimize legal risk in employment issues, including equal employment, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour laws, leaves and benefits.
Vanessa is fluent in Spanish and is currently a member of the Cuban American Bar Association.
