
Amanda Worcester Martin is a member of the Tax Group at Baker McKenzie’s Washington, DC office. She practices mainly in the area of US federal income taxation of corporations, with an emphasis on international tax planning, transfer pricing, and controversies involving international tax issues.
Amanda focuses her practice on corporate taxation, including cross-border taxation matters involving transfer pricing of tangible products, intellectual property and services, effective tax rate minimization, and competent authority matters under income tax treaties. She has experience advising clients regarding advanced pricing agreements, competent authority matters and transfer pricing documentation.
She also handles corporate tax planning related to domestic and international transactions — with particular emphasis on global reorganizations of multinational corporate structures — including international joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. She also handles post-acquisition integration, and assists in the implementation of global tax structures and strategies.
