
Karl Tilleman’s practice focuses on complex contracts, insurance bad faith/punitive damages, healthcare, antitrust, intellectual property, and class action disputes. Karl is a seasoned first-chair trial lawyer with nearly three decades of experience handling high-stakes cases for many of the nation’s largest corporations, insurance carriers and financial institutions.
Karl prides himself in developing a cost-effective, winning strategy in complex litigation from the beginning of the case through trial, if necessary. Karl played for the Canadian National Basketball Team in the 1984 and 1988 Olympics, setting a record for three-point shooting in the latter games that has never been broken. He also clerked at the Supreme Court of the United States for Justice Clarence Thomas and former Chief Justice Warren E. Burger.
